AKROS school was opened for our Client from August 2 through August 8 this year to train personnel in "New approaches to improve efficiency of drilling operations". SurgutNefteGaz was invited to participate in training sessions as the main Client of our Company. The mud technology engineer Yuri Lukovkin acted as the main trainer, and he presented the strenuous training material in the most professional manner.
The specialists of SurgutNefteGaz participated in the workshop discussions and designed a drilling project with the focus on the mud mixing process deployed by AKROS, thus exposing new horizons in drilling technologies and in the use of oil based fluids. A number of practical activities were held in the AKROS Central Laboratory, where the trainees were introduced to new inhibitors providing better prospects and opportunities in drilling, and to new additives designed for effective fluid loss control, also providing better advantages and improved hi-vis mud properties.
SurgutNefteGaz JSC expressed their gratitude for the training session and workshop.
