preliminary RISK assessment

preliminary RISK assessment
The AKROS management pays special attention to full compliance of work objects to the required parameters.

The immediate supervisors (project coordinators/managers) perform a documented evaluation of each facility to be used for rendering services within the framework of the service agreement on the established parameters (the safety of an engineer's travel to the drilling site, the dwelling conditions in his mobile house, the sanitary conditions, the food catering, the potable water supply, the communication conditions, the provision of medical aid, etc.)

At the beginning of each tour of duty, an engineer must evaluate the risks of walking about the drilling site (height differences, moving mechanisms, slippery surfaces, faulty stairs and ladders, high-voltage lines, poor lighting, and other potential hazards) and determine the safest route. When the route poses a hazard, the engineer must promptly eliminate it, if the measures to be taken are within his competence, or ask competent employees to do it. Upon the discovery of any hazards to health or life, the engineer must stop (or not begin) working.
